building regs shed roof height

I got a wide span shed,12 x 10 about 5m high in center (seems double that when on top screwing down roof ) shed was $15000,slab $6000,fit roller doors $400.. Do you have ongoing inspections ie are you actually getting building regs approval for this? assume not just for a summer house. in reality that is the by the book.
